- Students should
come to class on time. When a
student is late to class, his/her homework is also
late.
- Students have 2 days only to make up excused late
work regardless of the number of days missed. Within that
time, students may receive full credit. Students
have until the day before a unit exam to submit unexcused late
work for a grade no higher than a ‘C’.
Students must get their absences excused within a week.
After one week, the absences and the late homework will
be considered unexcused.
- Students
have two school days to make up
a missed exam. Students take a make-up exam whether
absences are excused, unexcused, or school-related. Make-up
exams consist of essay questions.
- Electronic
devices can be a distraction from learning and are
sometimes used as a way of cheating. Although
not my desire, I reserve the
right to confiscate them temporarily in
order to maintain the integrity of the class.
- Cheating on any
assignment is prohibited. Cheating includes copying
other students' work, claiming downloaded material or
another student's work as your own, using a cell phone
or the Internet during a test, and removing a quiz from
the classroom.
